 Global stratification really do affects the life cycle of each state in the globe. Global stratification refers to the unequal distribution of wealth, power, prestige, resources, and influence among the world’s nations. To put more simply, there is an extreme difference between the richest and poorest nations.

  People in various countries throughout the world have varying levels of access to resources and opportunities, as well as varying living standards, depending on their position in the global hierarchy.

  People living in a poorest nations are fighting against starvation, financial stability , communicable diseases and other illness which richest people didn’t experience. Global Stratification might have positive effects for the richest nations but opposite for the poorest nations.

 Thousands of children are stuck in worst conditions. Many of them die before reaching adolescence and many of adults die before reaching what would be called middle age in the richest nations. Richest countries have the full access of education, medical aids and necessities unlike the poorest nations. Many individuals are illiterate, jobless, and ignorance to the world we are living.

 Newborn mortality is one of the most important markers of a country’s well-being, and the worldwide picture of infant mortality provides sad, dramatic proof of the difference that a country’s poverty makes. Infant mortality rates in the poorest countries are shockingly high, owing to poor prenatal and postnatal nutrition, disease, and other dire conditions. This is one tragic effect of global poverty.

  Let’s have an example. Let’s compare two countries: one from a prosperous nation, the United States of America, and one from a poor African, Ugandan nation. Despite the high level of poverty seen in the United States when compared to other wealthy nations, Americans and Ugandans live quite different lives. The average American enjoys a comfortable life that the average Ugandan can only dream of, while the average Ugandan lives a life that the average American could only see in his nightmares. There really is a big gap between poorest and richest countries.

  In our globe, not all nations have the privilege to have a wealthy lifestyle or have experience the equal distribution of resources and opportunities. Global Stratification might be good for the other countries but not the same with the others. There are a lot of people also suffering as a result of global stratification. It's sad that there are some people in good hands and some are in the palms of luck.
